This is a basic question as I try to learn about security. I am using VS 2012 on Windows 8, C# WPF.
On the project's property page / security tab / ClickOnce / Partial Trust, I have been successful in testing a WPF app using a CUSTOM permission set.
However, when I try to use Local Intranet, nothing but troubles. Both Local Intranet and Internet leave the button for 'Edit Permissions XML' disabled. Fine, according to MSDN it seems default permissions should be generated. But when I try to run I get a TargetInvocationException and the app won't start.
I've seen a similar question where the answer was to use the 'Custom' option. Does that mean the Local Intranet (and possibly the Internet) options are not to be used?
Thanks a lot!
