Auto Insert Closing tags is not working...

...In the Options->TextEditor->XAML->Miscellaneous page I have "Closing tags" checked in the "Auto Insert" group, but it is not working. This is a brand new install of Visual Studio 2008. Here is my version number: Version 9.0.21022.8 RTM

Any ideas?
