Hi, I am having problems with the msdn walkthrough Binding WPF Controls to a WCF Data Service,
I have followed all of the steps and then about a third of the way down when it asks me to create a Service Reference for my WPF App I encounter an error. It does not allow me to add the AdventureWorksService.svc as a service,
The message box which opens says "There was an error downloading metadata from the address. Please verify that you have entered a valid address.
The second error, in the Add Service Reference window, says "An error occured while attempting to find services at 'myaddress'"
Error in the details section:
The request was aborted: The operation has timed out.
Metadata contains a reference that cannot be resolved:
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
