Hi! I'm a Sr. Software Architect with 16+ years experience using Microsoft technologies. For the most part, most of my time has been doing architecture, design, and development of the backend, multi-threaded stuff - without much focus on UI. The whole UI has always been interesting, but my job never really required much in the way of UI creativity.
After starting to dig into WPF and Expression, I'd like to learn more of the Designer side of things. Alot of the Expression tutorials say they assume a skillset of advanced user interface designer. I know the Expression Suite is geared towards this role, while Visual Studio is geared towards the software engineer - with XAML in the middle.
So, can anyone point me at any current books or online materials that might help educate me on the UI Designer side of things?
Thanks,
Bob
