I am currently working on WPF application where i want to give users option to print out document directly from app. Documents are stored in database as BLOBs and in code they appears as byte array. Documents are only in pdf format. I want simple scenario: user marks documents that wants to be printed, clicks on the print button, then printdialog pops up and he can pick up printer and settings for that printer (papersource etc.) and then printer will print out documents according the settings. Also i cannot make local copy of document all must be handled from memory.
Ive already tried multiple sholutions, but i never achieve that printer prints with settings i set.
http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/322091 this solution works great, but i cannot set printer settings and i was not able to add that option to this solution.
Then i used PrintQueue and PrintSystemJobInfo but experienced same troubles.
So if anybody could provide me some example code or give me some advice i would be very grateful.
