Using VS 2008 SP1, .NET 3.5 SP1
I know that text is automatically antialiased in WPF from the extensive postings in the Forums - but how about other WPF rendering ? Can it be turned off ? There was some alluding to .NET 4.0 having the ability to turn off anti-aliasing, is that true ?
This is a really big issue for us. It has nothing to do with the aesthetics of the image, our application must produce images with absolutely no anti-aliasing or other 'fuzzing' or smoothing - I need an absolutely crisp line between color objects, just like I expect that Im drawing them with the Geometries.
(side question : how about palette based images, which I havent tested yet, with the restricted number of colors, can it avoid the anti-aliasing - I dont really care for that approach though, it brings up other issues for us).
Thanks, any comments or suggestion would be IMMENSELY appreciated.
